By accessing or using the website at charlottesvilleconcrete.com, or by engaging Charlottesville Concrete ("we," "us," or "our") to perform services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this Site or engage our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone else who accesses this Site or requests our services.
Charlottesville Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Charlottesville, VA. We provide concrete construction and installation services for residential and commercial customers, including driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations, and related concrete work.
Services are provided subject to a written agreement or signed estimate between Charlottesville Concrete and the customer. The specific scope, timeline, and pricing for any project are governed by that written agreement. These Terms apply in addition to any such agreement.
Estimates provided by Charlottesville Concrete are based on information available at the time of the estimate, including site conditions, project scope, and material costs. Estimates are not a final price guarantee unless presented in a signed written contract.
If conditions discovered during work - such as unexpected soil conditions, buried materials, or changes to project scope requested by the customer - require additional work or materials, we will notify the customer before proceeding and will provide a revised estimate. No additional charges will be incurred without customer approval.
Prices for materials are subject to market fluctuations. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise in writing.
Project start dates are scheduled based on crew availability, permit approval, and weather conditions. Concrete work requires temperatures within an acceptable range and dry conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule projects due to weather or conditions that would compromise the quality of the work. We will notify customers of any scheduling changes as soon as possible.
If a customer cancels a scheduled project after a deposit has been paid, the deposit may be forfeited depending on the stage of project preparation, including materials ordered or permits pulled on the customer's behalf. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in the written agreement.
Charlottesville Concrete reserves the right to cancel a project if site conditions are unsafe, if required permits cannot be obtained, or if the customer is unresponsive or unable to fulfill their obligations under the agreement.
Payment terms are specified in the written estimate or contract for each project. Projects typically require a deposit prior to the start of work, with the balance due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments are due on the date specified in the written agreement. Late payments may be subject to a late fee as described in the project contract. Charlottesville Concrete reserves the right to suspend or cease work on a project if payment obligations are not met.
Accepted payment methods are specified at the time of estimate. Disputes regarding invoices must be raised within 7 days of receipt.
For projects that require permits, Charlottesville Concrete will obtain required permits on the customer's behalf as part of the service. Permit fees may be included in the project estimate or billed separately, as specified in the written agreement.
The customer is responsible for informing Charlottesville Concrete of any homeowners association (HOA) requirements, easements, utility locations, or property restrictions that may affect the project before work begins. Charlottesville Concrete is not responsible for violations resulting from information withheld by the customer.
Charlottesville Concrete warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Any warranty terms specific to a project will be stated in the written agreement.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to: extreme weather events, improper use of the concrete surface, application of deicing chemicals not recommended by us, tree root intrusion, or settlement caused by soil conditions that were not visible or known at the time of installation.
Except as expressly stated in a written project agreement, all services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charlottesville Concrete and its employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this Site or from the performance of services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a service project will not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific project.
